WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN ATTENDING ESCALON COVENANT CHURCH?
Upon entering you will be greeted and welcomed. If you have infants you are welcome to place them in the Nursery or bring them into the sanctuary with you. The music we sing is a blended style consisting of contemporary music as well as hymns. The sermons are designed to Educate in the Bible, to Explore what that means in your life, and to Engage in everyday life what you have learned. It is our desire that every part of the service including singing, prayer, the sermon, and the time following the service be a meaningful time for you.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We want you to feel comfortable. Casual clothes are the norm at ECC, but please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in…whether it is jeans or a tie.
HOW LONG ARE THE SERVICES?
Our Sunday service typically last an hour and a half.
WILL I HAVE TO SAY, SIGN, OR GIVE ANYTHING? OR WILL I BE SINGLED OUT?
At ECC you will never be put on the spot, singled out, or embarrassed. As our guest you will not be asked to participate in the offering. The only time that you have to sign something is if you have children and place them in the nursery. Our hope is that you allow our service be a gift to you.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS – DO THEY COME INTO THE SERVICE WITH ME OR IS THERE SOMETHING GOING ON FOR THEM?
We have a Nursery that is available for children up to their fifth birthday or entering Kindergarten. We also have two parents rooms where you can be with your children and still see and listen to the service. There is also Children’s Church for children K-3rd Grades and 4th-6th grades. They are dismissed during the church service.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET CONNECTED IN AT ESCALON COVENANT CHURCH?
The best way is different for each person. One of the best ways is to get involved in one of our Small Groups. Another way would be in serving in one of the various ministries in the church (available to you after attending for 6 months). Please call the church office if you want to get plugged in.
WHO FUNDS THIS CHURCH?
Our funding does not come from corporate sponsors or from our denomination, nor is there just one generous person paying all the expenses. It is the generosity of everyday people in our community that fuels what happens at ECC. Our support comes from the normal tithes (10 percent of earnings) and offerings of people who love giving to what they see God doing here.

Yes, we are a part of The Evangelical Covenant Church, consisting of about 750 churches in the United States & Canada. It is divided into 11 Conferences and we are a member of the Pacific Southwest Conference.
WHAT FORM OF GOVERNMENT DOES ECC OPERATE UNDER?
We operate under a congregational form of government. The congregation (membership) elects the Lead Pastor, the Leadership Team, and the Elders.
