What is "church"? We often use the phase "I'm going to church today." Alternately, we might ask someone, "Will you go to church with me?" But these uses of "church", although perhaps a kind of shorthand, reveal our lack of understanding of what "church" is. The building sitting at 1155 Escalon Avenue, for example, is not "the church"--at least not Biblically. In this series we go back to the basics in an attempt to be a "1st Century Church in a 21st Century World."
